Free Online Eye Test

Eye examination chart with eyeglasses on top

This free screening helps you get a rough idea of how clearly you see at a distance and up close. It is a basic screening only — it is not a diagnosis and does not replace a full eye test by an optometrist.

Before you start

  • Stand or sit about 3 metres (10 feet) from your screen for the distance chart.
  • Make the chart fill your screen and keep the room well lit.
  • Wear your usual glasses or contact lenses if you have them.
  • Cover one eye with your hand (do not press on it) and test each eye on its own, then both eyes together.

Distance vision chart

Read the letters aloud, starting from the top row and working down. Note the smallest row you can read clearly with each eye.

What your result means

If you can read the smaller rows easily with both eyes, your distance vision is likely fine for now. If you struggle with the larger rows, or one eye is much weaker than the other, you should book a full eye test. This chart cannot measure your prescription.

Near vision check

Hold this page about 35–40 cm (14–16 inches) from your eyes and read the paragraph below with each eye, then with both eyes.

Frame Aura offers prescription eyeglasses, sunglasses, blue light glasses, contact lenses and kids’ glasses, delivered across Pakistan with Cash on Delivery. If you can read this small print comfortably, your near vision is likely fine for everyday reading. If the words blur or you need to hold the page further away, your near vision may need checking.

Important disclaimer

This is a basic screening only. It cannot diagnose eye disease, measure your prescription, or replace a professional eye examination. If you have eye pain, a sudden change in vision, flashes, floaters, or any eye concern, please see an optometrist promptly.
